Mosel/Rhein-Hunsrück is one of the 299 single member constituencies (German: Wahlkreis) used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. It is one of fifteen districts covering the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The constituency elects one representative under the mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 201. It consists the whole of the counties of Cochem-Zell and Rhein-Hunsrück and, from the county of Bernkastel-Wittlich, the municipalities of Morbach, Bernkastel-Kues, Thalfang am Erbeskopf and Traben-Trarbach.[1]

The constituency was created for the 1980 election, replacing the Cochem electoral district. All elections since its creation have been won by the Christian Democratic Union. Peter Bleser has been the representative since the 1990 election.[2]
