Nainwan is a tehsil of district Bundi) and a municipality in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan state in northwest India.
Geography
Nainwan is located at 25°46′N 75°51′E / 25.77°N 75.85°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 291 metres (954 feet).The town nainwan is situated 95 km from Kota and 165 km from Jaipur. It is 65 km away from Bundi, & you can reach easily from Jaipur,Kota,Bundi,& Tonk By bus. Train facility is not available there. Nearest Railway station is indergarh 25 km from Nainwa by Road. The Nearest Tourism place are 'Talwas Lake'(20 km away), 'Paibalapura dam'7 km, Bundi City,Ranthambhore National Park 70 km .
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Nainwa had a population of around 35,172. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nainwan has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 48%. In Nainwan, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
History
Name of city nainwan was given by prince Nain Singh Solanki. there are a many of Bawri's. There are Four big entrance Gate Gadpol, Todapol, Deipol, Khanpol. There are many temple in it One of the Big Temple of MANSHA PURAN GANESH JI at near of BiG talab there are one of temple of KU. NAIN SINGH SOLANKI and one of the Famous DWARIKA JI at bank of chota talab. the city of nainwa is the rest palace of the king of bundi. There are 9 Jain Temples.There is a place named 'BATWADYA KI TEK' slope at an angle of 15 degree approx, on bundi road where roads from dugari,bansi and jajawar meet.
Education
There is a college which name is BAJRM(Bhagvan Adinath Jairaj Marwara) College, situated on Nainwan-Kota road, 2 km from main city and affiliated with Kota University. There is a senior secondary school and a secondary school for girls.there are around 50 pvt schools,out of which more than 5 are 10+2 level.
Festivals and Fair
People of Nainwa celebrates all Indian Festivals including Bundi Utsav, Teej and muharram also. There is a fair named Dahelwal Ji.

There is a Bus Stand. Many private and 50 or more Government Buses go from here. A State Highway and a National Highway connects it to the big cities of Rajasthan. Nearest Big Railway station is Kota and Sawai Madahopur. Nearest Airport is Sanganer Airport (JAIPUR).
