Nathan Cody was born and raised in rural Fairbanks, Alaska, and later became known as an evening radio personality on FM station KKED, 104.7 "The Edge," and as the morning show host on KAKQ "Magic," 101.1.
Radio
Beginning in the late 1990s, while attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Cody hosted a 2-hour Sunday afternoon radio show on the college station, KSUA. Shortly thereafter, he was hired on to the local rock station KKED, 104.7 "The Edge," and took over as morning drive host on KAKQ "Magic," 101.1.
While attending CSUS in 2002, he was hired as a commercial producer and radio personality at alternative rock station KWOD 106.5fm in Sacramento, and later Top 40 KDND, 107.9 "The End," when KWOD was acquired by Entercom.
Cody continued to voice and produce commercials for the two stations, as well as Sports Talk station KCTC, Active Rock station KRXQ, Classic Rock station KSEG, and Smooth Jazz station KSSJ through 2006. Since then he has gone on to do other local and national commercials, and continues to work in Los Angeles. [1]
