Netmagic Solutions is a provider of managed hosting and cloud services in India.[1] It is a subsidiary[2] of the Japanese telecommunication company, NTT Communications, a member of the NTT group,[3][4] handles the operations of Netmagic. It has over 140 datacenters across the world.[5]
History
Headquartered in Mumbai, Netmagic got founded in 1998 and provided network consultancy.[6] The Company opened its first datacenter in 2000 and later, transitioned to providing colocation services.
In 2012, NTT Communications bought 74 percent stake in Netmagic, which was raised to 81.6 percent in 2014. The remaining shares are still owned by Netmagic's CEO, Sharad Sanghi.[7]
Data Center Locations
Netmagic has 9 carrier-neutral Tier III data centers in India.[8] Mumbai has five data centers(Vikhroli 2 phases, BSE and Saki), Bangalore has two, while Delhi, and Chennai have one each. These data centers are ISO 27001 and ISO 9001:2008 certified; built as per IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.[9] Netmagic's largest datacenter is located in Mumbai (DC5, Chandivali), with a floor space of 300,000 square feet.[10][11]

Netmagic provides Managed Hosting, Colocation, Cloud, Network, Managed Security, Disaster Recovery and Software-Defined Storage to customers across banking and financial services, insurance, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing, media & entertainment, IT & ITeS, logistics, hospitality, and education.[15]
The Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)[16] is a Disaster Recovery Management (DRM) Solution powered by Sanovi's Cloud DRM suite. It has quick deployment with pay-per-use feature. The entire DRaaS can be enabled with hybrid DR deployments.[17]
Its cloud computing services allows enterprises to use the entire IT infrastructure on a pay-per-use model.[18]
