Nicodemo Antonio Massimo "Nick" Mancuso (Born May 29, 1948 (age 68), is a Canadian actor. He is probably best known for his roles as the antichrist (Franco Macalousso) in the Apocalypse series of films produced by Cloud Ten Pictures, and for his starring role in the NBC action series Stingray (1985–87).
Early life
Mancuso was born May 29, 1948 in Mammola, Calabria, Italy and emigrated to Canada in 1956.[1]
Career
In the early 1980s, Mancuso starred in Ticket to Heaven in which he played the part of a David Kappel, a non-observant Jewish teacher in Toronto. His girlfriend leaves him and he visits San Francisco to find his footing and see an old friend. He is lured into spending a weekend at a camp that is actually the recruiting and indoctrination center for a religious cult. It becomes apparent that this film is based on the Unification Church.[2]
Among the other roles Mancuso has taken on there was the role of Holden Downes in Captured. In this sometime violent film, he plays a real estate tycoon on the edge. He comes across some thieves who are out to rob him and takes his anger out on them.[3] Instead, he turns the tables on them and making them the victims.[4]
Personal life
Mancuso's first marriage took place in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, on 24/26 May 1981 to Lady Patricia Pelham-Clinton-Hope (born Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia, 20 July 1949), daughter of the 9th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne,[5] film actress on two occasions, on Mask (1985) as Canuck's Girl and on Tales from the Darkside, episode "A New Lease on Life" (1986) as Helen Tanner. She was a former wife of Alan Parker, whom she married on 1 December 1971 and divorced in 1974. They divorced in 1983, when she reverted to her maiden name, and had no children. In 2003 and in February 2008 she was living in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida with her natural son Dorian Henry Navarr Pelham-Clinton-Kole, born in 1990, who is autistic.[6]
Mancuso's second wife was actress Barbara Williams. The couple divorced and had no children.
In 1998 Mancuso married his third wife, actress Nadia Capone, whom he divorced in 2006. His only child is a result of that union.
