Nickelodeon is an Italian television channel launched on 1 November 2004 on Sky Italia. Since 1997 Rai Sat 2 has broadcast Nickelodeon cartoons for three hours a day.
History
The channel was launched on 1 November 2004. At first it divided its frequency with Comedy Central, which broadcast at night. On 31 July 2009 a timeshift version was launched. On 1 April 2010 the channel got the new international logo. On 9 September 2013, both the channel and the timeshift broadcast in 16:9 widescreen.

Nick Jr. logo
Nick Jr. is an Italian television channel, aimed at a pre-school children audience. It launched on 31 July 2009 on Sky Italia to replace Rai YoYo, although it is still airing on selected cable providers.
