Nizza di Sicilia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 180 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,615 and an area of 13.2 square kilometres (5.1 sq mi).[1]
