Student Voice

Student Voice is the NTSU brand for democracy and representation, incorporating the Executive Team, Student Officers, Campus Liaison Officers and democratic meetings such as the AGM and UGMs. The various high-level representatives are elected in two separate elections each year, with all taking office from 1 July.

Executive Team

The Executive Team are NTSU's paid full-time Officers who run the Union and organize the services provided:

During 2011-2012 the remit of these positions was changed and some of the names altered; VP Welfare became VP Welfare & Community, VP Societies became VP Activities and the VP Democracy position was abolished.

Full information can be found at NTSU - Your Exec

Student Officers

The Student Officers are unpaid volunteers elected to campaign for and directly represented under-represented student groups at Nottingham Trent University.

There were significant changes to the Student Officers during 2011-2012 to concentrate on purely representative positions; Officers responsible for the media outlets for example, were abolished and responsibility for RAG was merged into the VP Activities post.
