Orkanger Church (Norwegian: Orkanger kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in the municipal center, Orkanger, near the Trondheimsfjord.[1]
The wooden church (originally called Orkedalsorens kirke) was built in 1892, and it was consecrated on 28 April 1892 by the dean, Brodahl. The architect who designed the church was Christian Thams. The church is part of the Orkdal parish in the Orkdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros.[2][3]
