Panyam or Panem is a village in Panyam Mandal , Kurnool District , Andhra Pradesh State . Panyam is a main village for the Panyam Mandal.[1][2]

Panyam village is located in Panyam Tehsil of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated 57 km away from district headquarter Panyam. Panyam is the sub-district headquarter of Panyam village. As per 2009 stats, Panyam village is itself a gram panchayat.
The total geographical area of village is 3106 hectares. Panyam has a total population of 14,562 peoples. There are about 3,452 houses in Panyam village.
