Papagaio (Hebrew: פאפאגאיו) is a Brazilian Steakhouse style restaurant, with 3 locations around Israel.
History
Papagaio, which opened their first location in Tel Aviv in 1997, is a Brazilian Steakhouse, which has since expanded to 3 locations around Israel.[1]
Restaurants
Their best known option is an all you can eat meal which for a set price you get a salad, bread and unlimited meats.[2] Although the menu will vary from day to day, most days provide you with an option of at least 10-12 different types of meat to choose from.[3] A series of waiters go from table to table with the different selections of meat, allowing you to try every type of the one flat price.[4]
Additionally Papagaio also offers a meat sampler.[5]
Locations
As of August 2014 there are currently three locations around Israel:[6]
Additionally they used to have a location in Eilat[10] and Haifa[11] which has since closed.
Kashrut
The Jerusalem location is currently the only kosher location, certified L’Mehadrin by the Orthodox Union.[12] The other two location are under the Rabbanut.[13]
