Pat Flynn is an American entrepreneur, blogger and podcaster known for his website Smart Passive Income, where he conducts income experiments and shares the results.

The Smart Passive Income podcast is consistently ranked in the top 10 podcasts in iTunes's Business category.[1][2]

Pat is on the board of the non-profit Pencils of Promise[3] and is an advisor to tech startups LeadPages[4] and ConvertKit.[5]

Flynndustries LLC

Flynn started Flynndustries after being laid off from his architecture job in 2008.[6] He created a website to help other people in the industry pass the LEED exam.

Since, he has created various businesses under the Flynndustries LLC umbrella and uses them as case studies in both his blog and podcast

In 2014, Flynn released the Smart Podcast Player.[7]

Flynn popularized the idea of publishing "income reports" detailing how much his businesses make every month. These quickly became the most trafficked posts on his site.

To date, Flynn's businesses have generated over $3 million in revenue.[8]
