Patricia Kara (Greek: Panayiota Karamouzis-Παναγιώτα Καραμούζη; born February 25, 1972) is a model, actress, and TV personality.

Career

She began her career in Chicago, before moving to Miami, New York City, and finally, her current home in Los Angeles, California. Throughout her career, she has done segments for the TV Guide Channel's coverage of the Golden Globes, the Catherine Zeta-Jones benefit for the Motion Picture and Television Fund, and the E! Network's Wild On! series (the Kentucky Derby episode). She was also a Spring Break VJ in Lake Havasu and Panama City Beach. She has also done Three to Tango, the NPPL Super 7 World Series Paintball Tournaments on PBTV, segments for TVG, and OLN's Wakeboarding Power Hour.

She also appeared in television commercials for Coors Light, Old Navy, Bally Total Fitness, Kohl's, Ericsson mobile phones, and most recently in spots for V8 and Edison Power. She made countless TV appearances on TV shows such as MADtv, Las Vegas, All of Us, Passions, and Beverly Hills, 90210. She has also appeared in video games such as MechCommander 2.

Kara's modeling career includes print advertisements for AT&T, FedEx, Venus Swimwear, Body Wrappers dancewear, Disney, Suave, Swiffer, 24 Hour Fitness, Mitsubishi Motors, Lexus, Nesquik, Reebok, and Snickers.

She has appeared in magazines as Stuff, Maxim, Forbes magazine, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Redbook, Shape, Fitness, Bride, Day Spa, Women's Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, Fitness Rx, Let's Live, Endless Vacation, and the cover of Brad Schoenfeld's book Sculpting Her Body Perfect.

Kara guest starred in a 2000 episode of MADtv, in which she starred in a music video parody, playing the girl in a sketch called "Girl, Why Can't You Love Me?" with guest stars 98 Degrees.

In 2005, she was chosen to be a model on NBC's game show Deal or No Deal, and holds case #9. She also substituted at 4, 5, and 10. For the 2008-09 season, she and Tameka Jacobs were the assistants used on the new daytime version. She will continue in that role as the show moves to Connecticut in 2009-10.

Kara appeared on a Celebrity Edition of the GSN gameshow Catch 21, playing for charity alongside fellow DOND models Leyla Milani and Marisa Petroro. Kara won the main game, earning $1,500 (with a $500 bonus for getting the show's first "21") and an additional $1,000 in the Bonus Game, for a total of $2,500.
