Patrick "Pat" Tunney was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Salford, as a Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.[1]
International honours
Pat Tunney won a cap playing Hooker for England in the 3-9 defeat by Other Nationalities at Central Park, Wigan on Tuesday 5 April 1904, in the first ever international rugby league match.[2]
