The pearly-breasted cuckoo (Coccyzus euleri) is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil,[2] Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Peru[3] and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.It does not occur above an elevation of 2000 meters.[4]
It can easily be confused with the yellow-billed cuckoo.[5]
The status and even the general distribution of this scarce cuckoo remain very poorly understood.[6]
This cuckoo is hunted.[7]
