Penance Pass
Penance Pass (78°4′S 163°51′E / 78.067°S 163.850°ECoordinates: 78°4′S 163°51′E / 78.067°S 163.850°E) is the lowest, and easternmost, pass from Shangri-la to the Miers Valley. Named by the New Zealand Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition (VUWAE), 1960-61.
