Peter Fraenkel (marine engineer)
Peter Fraenkel, MBE,[1] is a marine engineer, visiting professor at Edinburgh University School of Engineering and a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and of the Energy Institute.[2][3] He is the inventor of the tidal power plant SeaGen.[4]
In 2013, Fraenkel won the Scottish Government's Saltire Prize medal.[5][6]
