Poore Brothers
Poore Brothers is a brand of potato chips that is sold mostly across the Western United States. Poore Brothers chips are produced in Arizona and California by the Poore Brothers Inc. company based in Goodyear, Arizona, and the brand is known for its unique variety of flavors. Poore Brothers regrouped as Inventure Group in 2006, although Don Poore still works occasionally as a consultant, and Jay Poore is vice-president of engineering at the Inventure facility in Goodyear.
Brief history
The Poore Brothers' chips have been in production since 1983. During the 1990s, the Poore Brothers Inc. reached an important agreement with T.G.I. Friday's restaurants to produce T.G.I. Friday's brand potato chips. Poore Brothers is now part of Inventure.
