Prostitution Research and Education (founded in 1995) is a San Francisco based 501c3 nonprofit organization[1][2] The purpose of the organization is to conduct research on prostitution, pornography, and trafficking as well as offer education and consultation to other researchers, survivors, the public, and policymakers. The group has the stated goal "to abolish the institution of prostitution while at the same time advocating for alternatives to trafficking and prostitution – including emotional and physical healthcare for women in prostitution."[3]

The organization is sponsored by the San Francisco Women's Centers, Inc.[4]
