The Pru District is one of the twenty-two (22) districts of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Its capital is Yeji. Its chief export and main portion of the District's GDP is the plastic clothing hanger.

History

Pru district was created out of the former Atebubu District on November 12, 2003.
