Punchdrunk International is a production company founded by Felix Barrett MBE of theatre company Punchdrunk.
The company was founded in 2015 and produces original work by the Punchdrunk team as well as a selection of Punchdrunk’s commercial productions in the UK and internationally, including Sleep No More in Shanghai.
Felix Barrett serves as the Artistic Director of Punchdrunk International alongside Executive Producer Despina Tsatsas. Punchdrunk International company members include Creative Producer Colin Nightingale, Creative Director Stephen Dobbie, Senior Designer Livi Vaughan and Associate Director Hector Harkness.
History of productions
- ANTIdiaRy, a 2016 collaboration with Samsung and international recording artist Rihanna to mark the launch of her eighth studio album ANTI.[1] The project won a Bronze Lion in the Integrated Campaign Led By Promo & Activation category at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2016.[2]
- Sleep No More, a 2016 re-imagining of the London production in Shanghai. An adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Co-produced with Shanghai Media Group Live.[3]
