Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed is a well-known TV and film actress and voice artiste. She became popular through her unique acting in Bangla drama, advertisements and films. [1] [2]
Early Life
Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed was born in Dhaka Cantonment area. Her father is the Lieutenant Cornel Kazi Selim Uddin of Bangladesh Armed Forces and mother is Nahid Selim. Nowshaba studied in Shahid Anwar Girls School up to class seven and admitted in Holy Cross after that. She completed her SSC and HSC from there. Nowshaba graduated and had her Masters from the department of Drawing and Painting of Dhaka University. [3]
Career
Nawshaba first performance in stage was in Sonata in 2011. The drama was directed by Mukul Ahmed.She acted in the drama Chotobela borobela as her first appearance and her first serial named Lolita, She has been giving voice to the character Ikri Mikri of Sisimpur for six years, 2004 to 2009 and at that time she was also engaged in directing the puppet, Nawshaba also acted in the puppet character Vuto of Sisimpur.Nawshaba first advertisement was in Banglalink Ladies First. Moreover she acted in the commercials of Grameen Phone, BBC Shonglap, Nescafe, Meridian chips and Teletalk.
She first acted on film Udhao in 2008 and which was released on 2013. She also acted on film Chuye dile mon(2015) as Special appearance and Prothiruddo which released on 2016. She also acted on films Dhaka Dreams(2017), Dhaka attack(2017), Bhubhan Majhi(2017), Chandrabati Kotha(2017)[4] these films are in post-production.[5]
Personal Life
In 2003 Nawshaba got married with Ehsanur Rahman Zia. In 2012 They have a daughter named Prokriti Nazrina Ahmed Bela. [6]
