R. R. Dougherty was an American football coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Dougherty was the second head football coach for the Jamestown Jimmies located in Jamestown, North Dakota and he held that position for two seasons, from 1916 until 1917. His coaching record at Jamestown was 9 wins and 1 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #10 at Jamestown in total wins and #1 at the school in winning percentage (.900).[1]
He died of apoplexy in 1937.[2]
