Raha International School

Raha International School is a private profit-making school managed by Taaleem group located in Al Raha Gardens, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.^[1] Raha International School is an International Baccalaureate World School, RIS offers facilities that are designed to meet the latest global education needs and include ICT suites, multi-material workshops, a graphics room, language rooms, science labs, art rooms, music rooms and libraries.

Ranking

Among the top schools in Abu Dhabi, officially recognized as a "high performing school."By User ratings however, parents and students alike have disagreed.^[2] The first school in Abu Dhabi to be authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate's Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Raha has been criticized by many previous students for the lack of care and funding toward the older student's facilities but have failed to address them. In 2016, Raha changed the date of mock exams for the diploma program for the graduating class of 2017 which inflicted discontent on many of their muslim students, but proceeded with the new dates. Raha's accredited status has baffled students and parents alike as fees are now exceeding other top schools in Abu Dhabi, forcing parents to make their child join other schools. The older students receive hardly any benefits in the school anymore and were unable to use the 'senior pitch' for most of the year, due to its management preferring MYP students.
