Raja College of Engineering and Technology
Raja College of Engineering and Technology Madurai, was established by the Arun Ramkumar Educational Trust and the college started functioning during the academic year 1995-96 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Tamil Nadu. It is currently run by the renowned Solaimalai group of companies based out of Madurai and presence all over Tamilnadu. The College has obtained ISO 9000-2001 Certification in the year 2005 and has obtained National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE in the year 2011. The College is located in a sprawling campus around 6 km from Anna Bus stand on Madurai-Sivagangai road.

Other services
- Transport. College buses and vans are provided for the staff and students from all parts of the city. The college provides a free transport facility for the teaching staff. Special buses are available after college hours for the convenience of the staff and students involved in sports and other activities.
- Hostels are separate for male and female students. Four students stay in each room. Single room accommodation is given to final-year and postgraduate students. They are also permitted to use their own computers in their rooms.
- The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for male and female students, as well as for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Terrace gardens are being cultivated for growing vegetables for mess usage.
- The canteen functions mostly for the day scholars, providing meals at a subsidised rate as well as snacks. A shop in the canteen caters for all the needs of students.
