Rally Estonia
Rally Estonia (officially auto24 Rally Estonia) is a rallying event organised each year in Estonia. It is the largest and most high profile motor rally in the country. Rally Estonia runs on smooth gravel roads of Southern Estonia, the city of Tartu hosts the ceremonial start, a street stage on the opening night and the finish, while rally headquarters and service park are based in Otepää. Since 2014, it is a round of the FIA European Rally Championship.
History
The inaugural event, known as Mad-Croc Rally Estonia for sponsorship reasons, was held in 2010 as a part of the Estonian Rally Championship and was won by Markko Märtin. In the following year, the rally became known as the auto24 Rally Estonia. In 2014, it became a round of the European Rally Championship.[1]
