Rat River (Red River of the North)
The Rat River is a tributary of the Red River of the North in southern Manitoba, Canada.
Via the Red River, Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River, it is part of the watershed of Hudson Bay. The river flowing east to west is found between the Roseau River and Seine River on the eastern side of the Red River.
The river flows through the rural municipalities of Piney, La Broquerie, Stuartburn, Hanover, De Salaberry, Franklin, and Ritchot.
