Re-Define is a non-partisan, international think tank that advises policy-makers on financial system reform, economic policy, development and environmental finance. Their work is split between long term oriented public policy development and providing immediately implementable public policy solutions to specific current problems. Since formation it has predominantly focused its efforts on assisting the EU and member state governments navigate the European financial crisis of 2012 - 2013.[1]

Staff

Re-Define is led by Sony Kapoor,[8] an expert in international finance and development. Sony has a background in investment banking and derivatives trading and has also worked with multilateral organisations such as the UN and the World Bank, governments including those of Norway and Germany, and civil society organisations such as Christian Aid and Oxfam. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and has been elected as Young Global Leader[9] by the World Economic Forum and a Young European Leader by EuropaNova and Friends of Europe. Sony is an alumnus of the London School of Economics, the University of Delhi and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi.
