The service allows user to stream their video to multiple video sites all at once over the cloud server, without the additional CPU and bandwidth overhead. At present, the service is integrated with 35 streaming platforms from United States, United Kingdom, Russia, China, India, Germany, Japan and South Korea.[5] New video platforms can be added by users with the Server Key and RTMP of the service. User can stream to any streaming platforms via premium feature.[6][7] Video producers are able to multiply their total viewers with the help of the service.[8] Genres of the streaming include gaming, event, music, movie, entertainment, virtual reality, drone, 3D printing, and education.[9] In 2016 Restream started a new service enabling streamers to chat with viewers across different platforms in an aggregated chat.[10]
