Robert E. Lee Academy

Robert E. Lee Academy is a PK12th grade private school in Bishopville, South Carolina. This coeducational, Christian affiliated school was founded in 1965 as a segregation academy.[1]

Academics

The academy is accredited by the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). College credits can be earned at Robert E. Lee Academy through Central Carolina Technical College.[2]

Athletics

The school's athletic program offers many sports, which includes Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball(women's and men's), Volleyball, Track, Tennis, Clay Shooting, Golf, Cheerleading, and Bowling. The varsity baseball team won the SCISA 2A state title in 2014.

Extracurricular Activities

REL academy offers clubs and activities such as Student Council, Yearbook Staff, Anchor Club, Beta Club, First Priority, Environmental Awareness Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, and Quiz bowl. The Math Meet and the Literary Meet are also considered an extracurricular activity.
