Robin Wright-Jones is a Democratic member of the Missouri Senate, representing the 5th district since 2007. Her district covers part of City of St. Louis. She previously served as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 2002 through 2007, after winning a special election on March 26, 2002.

In 2013, the state ethics commission fined Wright-Jones more than $270,000 for allegedly spending $14,169 in campaign funds, including nearly $1,800 at a clothing boutique in Creve Coeur, $362 for “Scottrade tickets” and trips to Schnucks. She has appealed the ruling.
