I Am Future are the youth band of Bradford's Abundant Life Church. The band cite their musical styles as including rap, rock, and indie; Cross Rhythms has noted influences from Delirious?.[1]

History

The band, originally named Rock Productions Ministries, was formed by Jonathan "Jock" James in Bradford in 2002.[1]

On 2 October 2004, they recorded their first CD; this was a seven-song live EP entitled RPM: Live. This mini-album was released in April 2005. The band's first full-length album, I Surrender All, was recorded live on 15 October 2005; it was officially released on 9 June 2006.

In May 2006, I Am Future played at Alton Towers' "Ultimate Event".[2] During February and March 2007, I Am Future also undertook a UK tour with Canadian band downhere.[3]

I Am Future recorded their second full-length live album/concert DVD, Give My All, at the church's RockNations conference during August 2007.[4] The band released numerous video updates during the relatively short production timeline, including the full video for the title track. Give My All was made available within the church during November, and had a wide release during December 2007.[4]
