Ronny Rieken
Ronny Rieken (born 12 February 1968 in Oldenburg) is a German child murderer. He verifiably abused and killed twelve-year-old Ulrike Everts and eleven-year-old Christina Nytsch in the area surrounding Cloppenburg in northern Germany. Rieken was the first German criminal to be caught as a result of mass DNA screening. In 1998 he was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Justizvollzugsanstalt Celle.
