Stephanie Rose Bertram or Stephanie Bertram-Rose, most commonly known as Rose Bertram (born October 26, 1994)[1][2] is a Belgian model.
Early life and family
She was born in Kortrijk; her father is Belgian and her mother Cape Verdean. Her mother signed her with a modeling agency when she was 13.[1][2] She was raised in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium and in Deinze.[3][4]
Career
Bertram was cast by the Dominique agency at 16[5] and first attracted notice in a photo-shoot with Juergen Teller for Jambox;[3][4] she has since appeared in campaigns for H&M, L'Oréal, Hunkemöller, Primark,[1][2][6] and Agent Provocateur among others, and is a Victoria's Secret Angel.[7] She moved to the United States when she turned 18, and signed with Marilyn.[4]
She has been the subject of photo articles in Oyster, shot by Tyler, the Creator,[8] and in Galore,[9] and modeled for several fashion houses.[10] In 2015 she became the first Belgian model to be featured in promotion for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.[5]
Personal life
Bertram lives with the Dutch footballer Gregory van der Wiel,[1][2][11] whom she met when she was 17.[12] They formerly lived in Paris; after his transfer to the Turkish club Fenerbahçe in 2016, they moved to Istanbul.[13]
