The Rui Xiang RX1E is a two-seat electric aircraft, manufactured in China.

Design and development

The RX1E is an electric powered two seat side-by-side configuration, composite construction aircraft with a T-tail and tricycle landing gear. The aircraft was developed at the Shenyang Aerospace University,[1] and is one of the first electric airplanes in production. The company says they have 28 orders for the plane.[2]

The first two customer aircraft were delivered in June 2015. The launch customer was the Liaoning Ruixiang General Aviation Co., which will employ the aircraft in the flight training role.[3]
