Rupashi Bangla Express is a short-distance superfast type train of Indian Railways which runs down between Howrah and Purulia. It is a very important train connecting Bishnupur, Bankura,Adra, Purulia with Howrah(Kolkata). This train belongs to South Eastern Railways. The train numbers are 12883 and 12884. Up 12883 Howrah-Purulia Rupashi Bangla Express runs together with 12821 Howrah-Bhubaneshwar Dhauli Express up to Kharagpur.[1] 12883 departs from Howrah at 06:00 and arrives at Purulia at 11:50. 12884 departs from Purulia at 15:35 and arraives at Howrah Junction at 21:15. The route covers a distance of 323 km in each way. Pantry Car and Catering Facility is not available in this train.[2]
