Samuel Hubbard Hays (May 18, 1864 – November 17, 1934)[2] served as mayor of Boise, Idaho, from 1916 to 1919.
Hays became Boise mayor in June 1916 after his predecessor, J. W. Robinson, was removed from office by a recall election. He was elected to a full two-year term in 1917.
He had previously served as attorney general of Idaho from January 2, 1899 until January 7, 1901, having been elected in 1898.[3]
