Sally-Ann Roberts

Sally-Ann Roberts is an American anchorwoman for WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been part of the news team since March 31, 1977, and co-anchors the Eyewitness Morning News with Eric Paulsen.[1]

Education

She is a 1974 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi.

Personal life

Sally-Ann Roberts was born in Chandler, Arizona and is the daughter of Lawrence and Lucimarian Roberts. Her father was a Colonel in the Air Force and was one of the Tuskegee Airmen.[2]

She is the older sister of Robin Roberts, a co-anchor of ABC-TV's "Good Morning America."[3][4]


Book author

Sally-Ann Roberts is the author of Going Live: An Anchorwoman Reports Good News,[5] and gives motivational speeches around the United States.

With a foreword by her sister Robin Roberts, and photographs by her news colleague Eric Paulsen, Sally-Ann Roberts authored an inspirational book, Your Power is On!: A Little Book of Hope.

In addition to these non-fiction books, Sally-Ann Roberts authored a novel Angel Vision.
