Samer Awad (Arabic: سامر عوض) (born February 9, 1982 in Damascus, Syria) is a Syrian-Palestinian footballer. He currently plays for Al-Majd, which competes in the Syrian Premier League the top division in Syria. He plays as a midfielder, wearing the number 3 jersey for Al-Majd and for the Syrian national football team he wears the number 23 shirt.[1]
His family are originally from Al-Zawiya, Safad in Northern Palestine.[1]
