San Wang Dong
One of the major caves in Wulong Karst in China. It is 67 825 meters long. One day it could be connected to the nearby Er Wang Dong cave (42 139 m] .[1]
San Wang Dong has been known to the locals for decades, although its exploration began only a decade or so ago. The first major scientific exploration of the cave was organized by the international Hong Meigui Cave Exploration Society.[2]
San Wang Dong cave lies in close proximity to another huge cave, Er Wang Dong. San Wang Dong is located lower than Er Wang Dong. There is a likelihood, however, that the two caves merge further down. San Wang Dong has numerous large cave rooms and passages, many of which are almost intact.[2]
