Santiago Bovisio (September 29, 1903 in Bergamo – July 3, 1962 in Río Cuarto) was an Italian writer and occultist, and the founder of the Sacred Order of American Knights of Fire, which is referred to as Cafh.
Early life
Bovisio was born into a Catholic family and educated in a Passionist college. He joined the Order of the Knights of Fire's European branch in Venice, under the guidance of Maestro Giovanni Veniviene. Veniviene was one of the best herbalists in Europe, with whom Bovisio trained in natural medicine.
In 1926 his superiors ordered him to found a chapter in Argentina. He went there and founded the Savanoliana Union, based on the teachings of Girolamo Savonarola who Bovisio claimed was his astral guide. Subsequently in Rosario, Argentina, he founded the American Spiritualistic University, which incorporated various spiritual groups.
On March 3, 1937, along with 3 friends, he founded Cafh.
After decades of work dedicated to the Cafh organization, Bovisio died in a traffic accident in Argentina.
