Sarah Zucker

Sarah Zucker is an American artist who specializes in visual art.

A particular focus of Zucker's work is the use of short looping animations in the style of .gif files, such as cartoons of iconic figures in contemporary feminism including Rachel Maddow and Lena Dunham.[1] Zucker collaborates with Bronwyn Lundberg in the creative studio YoMeryl.[2] Zucker along with Lundberg were the first artists to present .gif images as art at the Brooklyn Museum. She is a member of the creative duo The Current Sea, which hosts Prism Pipe, a monthly showcase of experimental gif art.[3]

Zucker is a writer and director whose work focuses on empowered women.
