Seymour M. Knox

Seymour M. Knox was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Knox was born on January 12, 1820 in Russell, New York.[1] He later moved to what is now Marquette, Wisconsin.[2]

Career

Knox was elected to the Assembly in 1873. He was also chairman of the Town of Green Lake Board. He began his political career as a Democrat, but switched his affiliation to the Republican in support of President Lincoln's anti-slavery stance.[2]
