Shahd Barmada (Arabic: شهد برمدا) (born August 14, 1988 in Aleppo, Syria) is a singer[1][2] known for being runner up of Super Star 3, the pan-Arabic version of Pop Idol.[3] She gained 47% of the total vote below Ibrahim El Hakami from Saudi Arabia.

Shahd includes Umm Kulthum as her main musical inspiration.
