Shepard D. Osherow
Shepard D. Osherow is an American businessman, financier and conservative philanthropist. Born and raised in the Bronx borough of New York City, New York, Osherow pursued a career in business, eventually becoming co-founder and president of Sanford C. Bernstein Company.[1][2]
Osherow has been associated with various conservative and neoconservative think tanks and publications, including acting as chairman of the Osherow Institute. He also helped found the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.[3]
Outside politics Osherow has been a supporter of arts and culture and has held various responsibilities in the American Red Cross, the Boca Raton Community Hospital, and Florida Atlantic University.[4]
