Sheykh Hoseynlu (Persian: شيخ‌حسينلو, also Romanized as Sheykh Ḩoseynlū; also known as Shaikh Husain, Sheykh Ḩasanlū, Sheykh Ḩoseyn, and Shikhuseyn)[1] is a village in Minjavan-e Gharbi Rural District, Minjavan District, Khoda Afarin County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 131, in 34 families.[2]

The inhabitants are followers of Yarsan religion. A prominent spiritual leader of the religion, Ali Alipour (D. 1991) lived most of his life in Sheykh Hoseynloo. He was, perhaps, the only Iranian who spent time in a Germany concentration camp as a prisoner of war. The family of Azerbaijan's famous Ashik, Changiz Mehdipour are originally from Sheykh Hoseynloo.
