Shirvani Chalaev

Shirvani Ramazanovich Chalaev (Ширвани Рамазанович Чалаев) (born Dagestan 16 Nov. 1936) is a Daghestanian composer.[1]

His 1971 opera, The Highlanders, was the first Daghestan opera.[2][3] He has composed children's operas for the Nataliia Sats Children's Musical Theatre.[4]
