Simhavarman III was a ruler of the Pallava dynasty who reigned in the first half of the 6th century AD. He is the father and predecessor of Simhavishnu.[1] There are no remnants or inscriptions from his reign.[2] The only source of information about Simhavarman III is a genealogy given in the Vayalur grant of his grandson Mahendravarman I.[2]
