Sipa USA

Sipa USA was established in 1987 as the US Bureau for the Paris-based Sipa Press, which was founded in 1973 by Turkish photojournalist Gökşin Sipahioğlu.

Sipa is an international photo agency specializing in editorial news and entertainment content. Sipa distributes its content directly to leading domestic publications as well as a worldwide network of partners.

In January 2013, Hamburg-based ddp images acquired Sipa USA, thereby strengthening its position in the realm of photojournalism.
