Somy P T is a footballer who began his career as a defensive midfielder for Viva Kerala FC.[1][2] In 2005 he joined Churchill Brothers[3] and served there for two years, scoring a goal against Salgaocar F.C..[4][5] After Churchill Brothers[6] he played for Mohammedan in Kolkata for six months.[7]

Later he joined ONGC F.C.. He scored a goal against Western Railways in the RCF Nadkarni Cup football tournament 2009 and played at the RCF Sports Complex in Chembur. ONGC beat Western Railways in this match and qualified for the semi finals.[8]

Presently he is working in Indian Railways. He represented the Indian Railways football team in the 2013 Santosh Trophy[9]and in the 2014 Santosh Trophy.
